These Base Set booster packs are Black Triangle Error Shadowless packs. The packs feature the First Edition Pokemon logo and were produced during the transition from the First Edition to Unlimited print run. Rather than being discarded, these packs had a black triangle printed over the First Edition logo, creating what collectors now recognize as the Black Trinangle Error. This fun bit of history gives a glimpse into our personal collections and shows the rare types of items we try to source and provide for our fellow collectors.
